Product Overview
In the digital transformation wave of libraries, the intelligent upgrade of the borrowing and returning book process has become the key to enhancing reader satisfaction. The 32-inch self-service borrowing and returning machine has emerged as a product that integrates a 32-inch full HD touch screen, RFID radio frequency identification, facial recognition, and multi-modal identity verification. It is a vertical self-service terminal featuring a stand-alone integrated cabinet design, equipped with Windows/Android intelligent operating systems, and widely applied in public libraries, university libraries, primary and secondary school libraries, and urban reading rooms, achieving a new service model of "self-service borrowing and returning, intelligent query, and unmanned operation".
Key highlights
32-inch full HD large screen, with clear and smooth interactive experience
Equipped with a 32-inch IPS high-definition touch screen, with a resolution of 1080×1920, users can choose between portrait and landscape modes. The picture quality is clear and the touch is sensitive. The large screen interface clearly displays the borrowing and returning information, the reader's name, and the number of items borrowed. During standby mode, library announcements and event posters can be displayed in a carousel, converting the service terminal into an information dissemination window. The screen brightness can reach 500cd/m², and it can still be readable in strong light.
RFID contactless identification, second-level borrowing and returning
Using 13.56MHz high-frequency RFID technology (in compliance with ISO15693/ISO18000-3 standards), it can quickly identify the RFID tags attached to the books, and supports reading up to 10 or more books at once. The single borrowing and returning operation time is ≤ 3 seconds. The system has functions to prevent book swapping and theft, and the borrowing and returning area is equipped with infrared sensing devices, accurately identifying the operation range, and eliminating accidental operations. Some models support the ultra-high frequency 920-925MHz RFID standard.
Multiple identity verification, flexible compatibility
The device supports various identity verification methods such as IC card reader's certificate, ID card, facial recognition, and electronic QR code. Optional facial recognition cameras (with binocular live detection to defend against photo/video forgery attacks) allow readers to complete borrowing and returning operations by simply scanning their faces, eliminating the hassle of forgetting the borrowing certificate. The system seamlessly integrates with the library circulation management system via SIP2 protocol and supports functions such as personal borrowing inquiry and renewal.
Smart voice guidance, zero operation threshold
The device has a full-process voice guidance function. For each step of the reader's operation (placing the book, swiping the card, confirming, taking the book), there are synchronous voice and text prompts, and the volume can be adjusted. The system provides real-time alerts for incorrect operations, allowing even first-time users to easily get started.
Industrial-grade design, stable and durable
Multiple installation forms are available, including vertical, wall-mounted, and horizontal. The material uses high-quality cold-rolled steel plate/steel sheet + tempered glass, which is sturdy, durable, and resistant to corrosion. The modular design enables independent replacement of each component, allowing the system to quickly recover and reducing maintenance difficulty.
Applicable scenarios
Public libraries, university libraries, primary and secondary school libraries, city reading rooms/24-hour self-service libraries, reading rooms in enterprises and institutions, community cultural centers.
